Aerosmith Announce US Tour With Hollywood Bowl Stop In August
It’s been 40 years since the Boston-formed band signed with Columbia Records. Today, pop rock legends, Aerosmith, announced their Global Warming US Tour, which kicks off June 16th in Minnesota. The band will roll through Los Angeles in August with a banging show at the historic Hollywood Bowl.
Today is American Idol judge and frontman Steven Tyler’s 63rd birthday and the band is truly excited to get out on the road together. “The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance, and we will kick your ass and make out with your mothers,” Tyler says.
Live Nation will be promoting the tour and tickets go on sale starting March 30 and 31 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
Opening the show, will be rock legends, Cheap Trick, which played with Aerosmith at its July 2010 show in Irvine, Calif. Cheap Trick are playing with all of its original members: Rick Nielsen, Robin Zander, Tom Petersson and Bun E. Carlos.
