LA Lakers: Lamar Odom’s MRI Negative, Can Play With Bruised Foot

Los Angeles Lakers fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Forward Lamar Odom underwent an MRI on his aching right foot on Monday and it came back negative.
Odom is having one of his best starts this year- averaging 15.1 points and 10.9 rebounds. He has played a lot of games, lately, as he was captain of the USA team which brought back the Gold Medal.
The diagnosis is a bone bruise and LO will play on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Lakers are already thin in the middle, due to injuries to centers Andrew Bynum and Theo Ratliff. Ratliff will have arthroscopic surgery on his sore left knee and will miss an unknown amount of time.
