To say that Pearl Jam fans are fanatics, is an understatement…
We spoke to fans, who had traveled from as far as Portland, Oregon- to what they called the “mecca of rock and roll,” Memphis, Tennessee. Those same fans deliriously walked around on Beale Street, after a 3-hour monster set from the kings of the grunge scene. Pearl Jam absolutely blew the lid off of the joint, at the FedEx Forum.Hollywood Icon Magazine/Nashville Live Magazine was there, capturing classic shots, from the night.
Eddie Vedder motioned to his throat, as the night opened up. He was obviously fighting a cold, but, it was no match for his limitless passion. Drinking wine from a bottle, he led the all-time great crew (Stone Gossard, Matt Cameron, Jeff Ament and Mike McCready) through a massive journey of sound.
