Today marks the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s tragic death. June 25th is the day that the air got sucked out of Hollywood. The greatest entertainer and musician of all-time was gone at the young age of 50.
Gone too soon for sure… Hollywood Icon Magazine was in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Encino and Los Olivos to report live from all of the relevant locations, during that emotional week. We were at Neverland Ranch, where hundreds of fans made the pilgrimage from all over the world to come together at the gates. We were at the Jackson Family Compound in Encino, where fans congregated to catch a glimpse of MJ’s family, coming and going from their home. We were at the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where it took almost two hours of waiting in line in the blazing sun to see The King Of Pop’s memorial. We also journeyed to Michael Jackson’s home in Holmby Hills- definitely the most powerful and devastatingly sad place we reported from.
Here is a photo journal of this day, one year ago. RIP MJ. You are missed.
