Song Of The Day: The Alarm “Rain In The Summertime”

On a rainy day in LA, here’s Mike Peters and The Alarm with “Rain In The Summertime!”  The Alarm were one of the iconic bands of the 80’s, busting out epic albums like Strength, Declaration and Eye Of The Hurricane.  Who could forget the exploding 1986 MTV concert on the UCLA campus?  The show grew from an estimated 3000 fans to over 25,000.  An early influence of U2, the band’s songs have stood the test of time.  Much more than a “hair band,” Mike Peter’s crew still put on a great show today (although not the original lineup).
