After a 9-year wait, the Stone Temple Pilots have announced the release of a self-titled album.  The new album will drop on May 25.

The band hosted a listening party at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar in New York on March 1.

Since Shangri-La Dee Da was released, singer Scott Weiland has released two solo albums and fronted the band Velvet Revolver. Robert and Dean DeLeo formed the short-lived Army Of Anyone.
