Switchfoot To Live Stream Wednesday Concert For Charity (Watch It Here)
Switchfoot will live stream a benefit concert for the John M. Perkins Foundation after the recent robbery of the foundation’s music studio. The show will take place on Wednesday Sept 29th, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated.
On Wednesday September 29th, Switchfoot is playing a special benefit concert at Belhaven University. So what’s so special about the concert? Well, besides it benefiting a good cause, the concert will also be streamed online. All proceeds from “An Evening with Switchfoot and John M. Perkins” will go towards the The John M. Perkins Foundation For Reconciliation & Development.
“My small hope is that this concert can raise funds for the John M. Perkins Foundation. They have a music studio that was robbed a few months back and, with the money we raise, we can get that program back on its feet. I’m hoping that this concert can be a lightning rod to attract the attention of more donors, and more folks who can partner with the JMP Foundation in and around Jackson.”
John M. Perkins inspired the bands hit single “The Sound.”
The concert will be broadcast live on September 29th at 4pm PT. You can watch it here:
