Taylor Swift And Kanye West, Together Again For “We Are The World” 2010

Access Hollywood is reporting that Taylor Swift and Kanye West have both agreed to contribute to the 25th Anniversary “We Are The World” recording on Monday in Los Angeles. The duo notorious for sparking the MTV Video Music awards (whether it was staged or not) controversy would bring some positive publicity to the event.  Celine Dion, Wyclef Jean, Miley Cyrus and Sugarland will also join the all-star production, the source told Access.

Producer Quincy Jones is still in process of putting the talent together for the Nokia Theatre LA Live session, the day after the Grammys. “I want to get a final list before I put it out,” Quincy said.

According to E!, other potential performers on the track include Jennifer Hudson, Will Smith, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow, Mya and Justin Bieber.

Proceeds from the recording will be going to relief in Haiti.  Quincy, himself, recently spoke out on the re-recording to E! Online, stating, “It’s the 25th anniversary and it’s perfect timing…It’s not an accident, man. That’s God. It will be ‘We Are The World’ for Haiti.”
