The Office: Ricky Gervais’ UK Version Now Streaming On HULU

HULU is now streaming the groundbreaking series, The Office- the original UK version, starring Ricky Gervais. Gervais is now a producer of the hit show on NBC, The Office, starring Steve Carrell. If you watch the episode below, you will probably notice that it’s an exact match of the first episode of the US The Office.

Ricky Gervais stars as David Brent, middle manager of the Wernham Hogg Paper Company, in this multiple BAFTA, Emmy and Golden Globe award winning comedy sensation which inspired the NBC series of the same name. The Office is a scathing satire of corporate life – full of backfiring practical jokes, failed flirting and all around bad behavior. Also starring Martin Freeman (The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead), this mockumentary series is one of the most renowned comedies of all time.
