With excitement running high for U2’s upcoming U2360 US Tour in June, the band has announced a new DVD release.

The Irish band will release a DVD of last year’s massive Rose Bowl concert sometime in 2010, according to U2’s website.  Not many details have been released yet.  Their website states, “The band are still working on the content of the DVD.”

This would be the groundbreaking show that was simulcast on YouTube from Pasadena last year.

This was the setlist that night:

“Breathe”
“Get on Your Boots”
“Magnificent”
“Mysterious Ways”
“Beautiful Day”
“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” with a coda of “Stand by Me”
“Stuck in a Moment”
“No Line on the Horizon”
“Elevation”
“In a Little While”
“Unknown Caller”
“Until the End of the World”
“The Unforgettable Fire”
“City of Blinding Lights”
“Vertigo”
“I’ll Go Crazy if I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight”
“Sunday Bloody Sunday”
“MLK”
“Walk On”
“One”
“Amazing Grace”
“Where the Streets Have No Name”
“Ultraviolet (Light My Way)”
“With or Without You”
“Moment of Surrender”

We will share more information as it becomes available.

HIMag’s Take:  Look for a release date in May, just before the North American Tour begins.
