UCLA Basketball: J’mison “Bobo” Morgan To Play For Baylor Bears

BearsIllustrated.com is reporting that J’mison “Bobo” Morgan will play for the Baylor Bears.

The former 5 Star recruit was the #3 ranked center in the country when he came out of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas and was part of the #1 recruiting class at UCLA in 2008.  He originally signed a letter of intent at LSU, but was released from the commitment when the program changed coaches.

Morgan has not lived up to the hype in his two years at UCLA.  He averaged under two points and two rebounds a game, as a sophomore, in limited minutes.  He was not able to play Coach Ben Howland’s aggressive man-to-man defense, nor even be effective in the zone defense that the team was forced to switch to as they struggled this past season.

Baylor is coming off of a season where they reached the Elite Eight and are led by young and talented Coach Scott Drew.
